We are happy to announce that SINGING FOR LIFE has won the
special price for “programmes that effect social change”
at the PRIX ITALIA 2011

and is shortlisted at the GOLDEN PRAGUE FESTIVAL 2011

We are very happy to report that after the first broadcast of the film in ORF one of the films protagonists MANDELAKHE NJOHI has found a privat patrone who will make it possible for her to finally finish school and thus offering her a fair chance to leave her township one day.

After the films broadcast on Swiss TV SF also Thamsanqa Sikampula found a patrone to support him and also his family back in the townships of Langa in the future.
